| Athlon II X3 455 (3.4GHz) I used in a friend's case idles at 15 and never passes 46 under load (according to Prime95 and some games) with the stock cooler. Did I do well?

| amd phenom II x4 945 deneb idle:32-38c load: 63c max temp on prime 95 stock cooler in summer idles in 40s but then again my room gets easily into the 80s WITH air conditioning. winter months idled in 20s since i have no heat and i could see my breath | |

| I think my AMD X4 955 does around 38 with the Corsair H50, and that's with the central heating on in my room. | |

| why are my temps so good? my friend has an h70 with same cpu as me and its like in the 30s as well. his stock cooler kept him in 70s. am i just that good at thermal paste application? my case is a gmc r4 bulldozer so it cant be better cooling lolo he has an antec 300 | |
