It's a free to play mmorpg, IMO; It's different from the norm, It's celtic/anime styled there's alot to do it may be overwhelming at first but I think you can handle it.
It's a good time to start they just did an update dedicated to new users so when you start you get a free horse for a week after that you have to pay for your pets but they're permanent so it's a good deal. Also when I started you had to do all of this tutorial stuff but now they pretty much simplified it. You can dual wield (humans only) they don't tell you this but it can really make a difference.
