Join the club. A few weeks back, I had the flu for almost two weeks. Went to the doctor and got antibiotic, steroids, and cough syrup. For the past week, my throat has been killing me. I'm pretty sure it is all the pollen from all the early blooming plants, trees, etc...

im just so down. cant see my girl, havent seen her for a couple months, friends are flaking out on plans, just so alone right now. and no one gives a beeeep. if im not a use to them im just secondary a lot of times.

I hear you and feel for you. I have been there plenty of times.

My mom died in January. I had cared for her for over three years. Since she has been gone, the house has been so different. I've been occupying myself somewhat. But, still, it isn't so fun.

I force myself to get up, bathe, dress, and just plain old do something. I had a wonderful date with a childhood sweetheart last night. We hadn't seen each other in over 15 years. She recently moved back to the area. We have been talking/texting almost every day for over three months. I could hardly believe we were together at dinner. And, when we were in bed later, I must have looked like a total idiot I was smiling so much...I have a date with another lady tomorrow evening. She is pretty cool. They both know I am dating around and are cool with it. But, whatever...

When it rains, it pours. When it doesn't, you have a drought. Right now, it is raining. I am doing my best to appreciate it and enjoy it. Because, one day it might stop raining...

Do your best to not get too down. Use this time and enjoy it. I guarantee you there will be numerous times in your life that you will wish to be alone and have some peace and quiet.

They all work out if you appreciate what you do get and not wish for what you don't. I have another chick that just became exclusive with another guy. We are still great friends because we never tried to do anything more than enjoy what we had...

The childhood sweetheart looks very promising. When we talked for the first time in over a decade months back, it was as if we just picked up where we left off. We have both changed in numerous ways. But, what we are to each other hasn't changed a bit.

yeah im in deep we have been letting this relationship grow for about a year and its just getting harder and harder and i dont know what to do... im not sleeping and barely eating which is weird cuz those are two of my favorite things...

Hahahaha. I LOVE to sleep. I have found that moderate amounts of tasty alcoholic beverages work well in promoting sleep.

LOL Don't feel bad, friend. My father passed in 2009. I didn't feel hardly anything because he was a douche. He was a royal beeeep when it came to being a parent.

My stepfather passed in 1996. I felt some stuff. But, it was all good. He was 80 years old and lived a good life. He was a good neckbeard.

I was my mom's full time care giver since 2007. She was a good mom. But, she was pretty messed up, too. When she passed, it was a relief and a release. I am free now, more than anything else.

Please, do not feel like a douche. Because, I feel the same things as you do. My sweetheart is an awesome chick. I know that she loves me. But, I still worry that she will leave me. It isn't anything more than an overactive mind.

It is fine to feel sadness...worry...doubt. It shows that you care. If you try not to worry about those things too much then you won't suffer so much. But, don't ever think you are a pussy or a loser for feeling those things. Its O.K.

oh neckbeard, life has been great lately, I just have to work to make myself happy and I'm content with doing just that

im jelly neckbeard i wish i could be like that.

to be honest with you, I never thought I would be able to do so but something in me just clicked last year and its like, I made the realization that I have to do things myself in order to satisfy my desire to be happy

i need to do this. with the life i live and the stress and the constant conflict and anxiety i think ill die early. right now tho i wish i could just get tanked, my wisdom teeth have been coming in and my shoulder is out of socket again and im in pain physically on top of my mental bullshit. just having a shitty start to the year. last year felt better.

Half the effort is just starting the change. Take the first step to alleviate the physical things. For the mental things, its a little different because although time heals all, it doesn't work at the same rate for everyone and they are always setbacks.

Just take that first step

dad wont cover the overage for me to fix the physical problem with the shoulder cuz insurance wont cover 100%, and i cant afford to pay it, the wisdom teeth im just waiting till they all surface and getting them yanked. i destroyed my ac joints in high school and as a result i have no cartiledge in the inner part of my shoulders. this causes them to grind and has a simmilar pain to arthritis or at least thats what the specialists i did see said. after the mri and some xrays the only option they see is to shave off half an inch of my clavicle on each side and use a band to hold my shoulders in place. my overactive joints let them slide out and knock my clavicle, so ive been living on ice and ibuprofen for a couple years :\ it will push back in next couple days tho so its not constantly this painful.

You don't have to wait for your wisdom teeth to be fully surfaced, I have three of four fully out when I got mine out and the fourth was fully impacted. They still took care of that bitch (albeit it was the worst swelling I've ever had)

ill look into that then. i hope i dont have to go under, dont want the vikadin prescription either.

They gave me a choice if I wanted sedation or not. Either way, they're shooting a shit ton of Novocain into your face and getting straight to business. They gave me 30 percocets and trust me, after the novocain starts wearing off, you'll be rushing for them. One percocet wasn't able to take the edge off. Two percs took the edge off but put my ass to sleep in about twenty minutes of taking them.

with my family history i would be prescribed vikadin. of the two its the least evil(family history shows bad reactions to perccocets and a lot of pill addiction)

Ibuprofens weren't too bad, so you can go that route if you're concerned about that risk

yeah my friend had all his removed surgically and he took no meds. i got a feeling since i am always in pain from my shoulder and other football related stuff that i could take it but i am nervious about it haha

I haven't been feeling down, but i have been feeling a lot of rage. So much anger is building up inside. I'm about ready to start yelling where it doesn't need it. My co-workers aren't getting along at all, and i'm stuck in the middle of an on going fight; and it's only beginning. One co-worker is starting to drive me crazy, i keep getting thrown off by what she wants, and i'm pretty sure i pissed her off. go figure. Then my mother screwed me over big time with my taxes, i get about 1/8 of what i'm supposed to be getting. I needed that money for car repairs. Finally, i've got a friend who had a baby a few months ago and wants me to sign a petition to keep the baby. i need to sign it because the father is under some sort of suspicion, but i can't go into detail. I'm not a fan of him in the first place, and i'm losing my patience with her.

the only good thing i got going are weekly swims with friends and the fact that i'll be 21 next month.
